Company History

In early 2024, we expanded our capabilities by acquiring VO Brothers Mechanical and Crawford Mechanical Services, two renowned mechanical and plumbing contractors in the Intermountain West. By building on the strong foundations and legacies of these businesses, we are well-positioned to become the leading provider of plumbing, process piping, pipe fabrication, and mechanical services in the region.

Mark Estep

Mark is an esteemed operator with deep experience scaling industrial and manufacturing businesses. Mark began his career working in the petroleum refining industry while attending college at the University of Kentucky (BS Mechanical Engineering) and Eastern Kentucky University (BS Construction Management). Completing major projects and turnarounds across various parts of the US and the Caribbean, he gained an invaluable amount of field experience and a tremendous ability to connect with skilled labor. Upon graduating college, Mark joined an industrial engineering firm and continued working on major projects in the petroleum refining industry. Prior to Quantum, Mark was the senior vice president of a nationwide, full-service industrial services provider.

Chris Potter

Chris embarked on his career in the petrochemical industry during his college years and has since developed extensive mechanical expertise in roles of increasing responsibility on intricate, high-budget industrial projects. He is skilled in generating cost savings, optimizing processes, and fostering innovative solutions across diverse settings. Always looking for ways to grow, he continuously pushes both the team and himself to new heights. He brings a strong track record of successfully delivering events that meet performance objectives in terms of safety, budget, schedule, and quality.

Jordan Booth

VP of Finance & Accounting

Jordan thrives in helping scale PE-backed businesses. With 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, and operating roles, he loves getting his hands dirty in numbers, data, processes and systems. Jordan started his career in M&A advisory and valuation services with EY in Brazil, and has since worked with various businesses in technology, media and blue-collar industries across the USA and LATAM. He received an MBA and a B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University. 

David Mella

VP of M&A & Integration

David leads Quantum’s efforts to acquire leading industrial services businesses and integrate their brand, systems, and processes to accelerate growth. He has spent the last decade investing in, advising, and building high-growth companies. Prior to joining Quantum, David was a growth equity investor at Sorenson Capital and, before that, a consultant at Bain & Company, where he advised on growth strategy and organizational transformation projects for several multi-billion-dollar clients. David holds a B.S. in Economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Bryan Crawford

With a successful career spanning nearly 33 years, Bryan Crawford, along with his team of trusted experts, built Crawford Mechanical Services into a leading mechanical contractor. Starting with a focus on data center (aka mission critical) cooling, construction, and maintenance, Bryan and his team have successfully expanded their services to become one of the largest and most respected mechanical contractors in the industry.

Eric brings years of comprehensive experience in Project Controls and Operations Management, with additional expertise in Contract Management. Over his career, he has developed a robust skill set in cost management, scheduling, and risk analysis, enabling the efficient management of complex projects and the optimization of operations. A firm believer in the power of strong teams, Eric places a high value on building and leading cohesive teams to achieve project and company goals. Known for a strategic approach and a commitment to delivering excellence, he consistently drives success while maintaining budgetary integrity. Eric holds a BBA from Sam Houston State University.

Frederick directs the daily operations of Crawford Mechanical’s Construction and Special Projects departments. He provides guidance to the sales and estimating teams all the way through to the project managers and field leaders. His extensive experience in plan & spec, design build, design assist, and virtual construction help produce successful projects with quality results.

With 30 years’ experience in both the HVAC field and management, Will works closely with the service department to help guide and direct the team into an efficient, productive, and fun environment. He enjoys problem solving, finding more efficient ways to streamline work for the office and field, and the everyday interaction with his co-workers. With a love for teaching HVAC, Will passes on his knowledge and experience to strengthen the team. He firmly believes you are never too old to learn, and you never know it all.

Courtney Cannon, with 23 years of experience, excels in managing mechanical and plumbing projects. As a journeyman plumber, he is medical gas certified and OSHA 30 certified. Courtney oversees manpower scheduling and has expertise in BIM, design-build, and design assist projects, ensuring efficient project execution.

Jason Wilson has over 35 years of experience in the plumbing and mechanical trade, specializing in process water systems, steam/condensate, and hydronic systems. He spent 15 years in the field and 20+ years managing projects, known for his laser-like focus and detailed navigation of challenging projects and schedules.

He holds qualifications as a Master Plumber, with TIG and Stick weld certifications, and medical gas certification. Jordan Abbott

BIM Manager

Jordan Abbott, VDC/BIM Manager with over 14 years of experience, leads technological advancements for VO Brothers Mechanical. He designs and coordinates plumbing/mechanical systems for BIM models, working closely with shop and field teams. His expertise in VDC/BIM increases project productivity and reduces labor costs, ensuring efficient pre-fabrication and field installation.

Michael Moore

Preconstruction Manager

Michael has over 25 years of construction experience executing all aspects of Mechanical, Plumbing, and HVAC projects.  Michael exhibits a unique skill set having worked both as a General Contractor and a Mechanical Contractor and is focused on project development, creating mechanical solutions, and providing quality results.  He has effectively worked in nearly every market sector, and specializes in Healthcare, Higher Education, Sports Venues and High-Rise Buildings.

David Bougher

Fabrications Operations Manager

David began his career as a US Navy Seabee with construction in combat. Over the past 35 years David has played a pivotal role in establishing and managing prefabrication facilities in the SW United States. His expertise extends to managing the operations of piping, plumbing, and sheet metal, ensuring efficient field operations, CAD detailing, prefabrication, and installations for a wide range of commercial and industrial piping projects. Throughout his tenure, David has demonstrated a strong commitment to quality and safety, and with his Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Training, he ensures adherence to QA/QC requirements and weld inspection standards. His ability to collaborate effectively with construction groups, field supervisors, designers, and estimators has been instrumental in the company's success.

Rich Chrisman

Rich is responsible for monitoring and enforcing safety policies that reduce the risk of job site incidents. He performs regular inspections to identify and eliminate potential hazards in the field, educates our teams in best practices, and enhances overall safety compliance.
