I was in my early 20’s working for a small excavation and concrete raising company, not making much money, and not much room to advance when I decided I wanted to do something different. My dad was working for a large GC and said the plumbing company on his job was hiring. He helped me and my brother get an interview with VO and we both were hired in April of 2013. I’ve been with VO for 11 years now working my way up from a plumber’s helper to a field superintendent. I love that there are so many things to learn in our trade and that we are on a new build from start to finish. If I had one word to describe working at VO Mechanical it would be, “brotherhood.”
